COMING TO A KIDS’ TABLE
NEAR YOU

ALL THE FUN. AND THE NUTRITION – BUT SHHHH.

Picky eaters think they’re so tough. But little do they know, all that citrus they love snacking on is filled with nutrition – like immune-supporting, high five-worthy vitamin C. Citrus also contains flavonoids, natural antioxidants known for promoting brain health and function. Kids can even get a healthy helping of fiber from some citrus. And according to parents nearly everywhere, little ones aren’t exactly demanding fiber in their diet – so kudos to oranges and grapefruit for sneaking that in.

On top of all those easy peasy lemon squeezy ways to get nutrition into their diet, citrus also has tons of recipes that are fun for the whole family. For snacks, you can’t go wrong with these Orange Crispy Rice Cereal Treats. And in the morning, there’s nothing like a little Yogurt Parfait action; they’ll love layering all the flavors (and you’ll love seeing them get plenty of nutrients). We’re also fans of this easy-to-make dessert: Chocolate Dipped Mandarins. The name says it all – just dip ‘em, eat ‘em, and watch ‘em have fun every step of the way. And of course, how could we forget the most classic recipe of all: fresh-squeezed lemonade. Perfect for enjoying at home together.
