Marinade Ingredients

  • Juice of 1 Navel orange
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 thumb size ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Skewers Ingredients

  • 1 block tempeh, cubed
  • 1 red capsicum, cubed
  • Sesame seeds
  • Spring onion, chopped

Directions

  1. Add all your marinade ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Skewer the cubes of tempeh and capsicum.
  3. On a medium heat, gently pan-fry your tempeh skewers until golden brown. Make sure to flip them.
  4. Spoon the marinade over the skewers and cook for a few more minutes until sticky and brown.
  5. Serve with warm rice, your favorite vegetables and a garnish of sesame seeds and spring onion.
