Ingredients

  • ¼ cup sago pearls
  • Juice of 2 Sunkist® Navel oranges
  • 1 Sunkist® Navel orange, segmented
  • ¼ cup coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp gula melaka syrup
  • A pinch of salt

Directions

  1. In a pot of boiling water, cook the sago pearls over a medium high heat, stirring frequently to avoid clumping.
  2. After 10 mins, lower the heat and cover the lid. Cook for another 5 mins until the sago is translucent.
  3. Strain and rinse the sago under cold water to remove the excess starch. Set aside.
  4. Blend the orange juice, coconut milk, gula melaka syrup and salt until smooth.
  5. Place the drained sago into serving cups and cover with the orange mixture. Place in the fridge to set for at least 3 hours.
  6. To serve, add orange segments and your favourite toppings.
