Honey Orange Glazed Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 pat of butter or drizzle of oil
  • 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 0.5 cup Sunkist® Cara Cara orange juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced or grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy or Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of Sunkist® Cara Cara orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onion

PREP TIME

Preparation: 5 minutes

Cooking: 10 minutes

Directions

  1. Place a large non-stick pan or cast iron skillet over medium heat and add a pat of butter or drizzle of olive oil.
  2. Once butter or oil is hot, add shrimp.
  3. Cook 1-2 minutes per side or until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  4. Add Cara Cara orange juice to the skillet and allow to cook for 1-2 minutes or until juice is slightly reduced.
  5. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, approximately 30 seconds.
  6. Bring heat up to medium-high. Add soy sauce, honey and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
  7. Toss to combine, flipping the shrimp to cook and coat evenly.
  8. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until sauce slightly thickens.
  9. Top with desired garnish and serve.
